Confession…Still Good?

Nehemiah 9:1-38 “And they stood up in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day; for another quarter of it they made confession and worshiped the Lord their God.”

How do You Respond?

Nehemiah 8:1-18 “And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people answered, “Amen, Amen,” lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.”

That’s a Lot of Names!

Nehemiah 7 “But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

A Leader in the Cross-hairs

Nehemiah 6 “For this purpose he was hired, that I should be afraid and act in this way and sin, and so they could give me a bad name in order to taunt me.”

A Battle from Within

Nehemiah 5 “Now there arose a great outcry of the people and of their wives against the Jewish brothers.”

Everyone has a Part
